They Were Standing in Line to Buy Bread

Mothers in panic, Lebanon's civil war
Panic After the Explosion

Innocent. they. Their hearts are white. Their beds are pure. They went out to the bakery. And all their dream is to return with a few loaves of bread that will ensure their survival.

Perhaps they have been trapped in their homes since last Tuesday's massacres in Beirut. And when they imagined that the clashes had subsided, and the shooting had stopped, they went out to ask for bread. They don't know when they can go out again.

Most of them are children or boys. In the blink of an eye, the bread they crowd before him turns into rubble. And they turn into pieces. before most of them could even grab a loaf.

And those who had been able to buy bread from them, their parts were mixed with the loaves they got.

This is the hand of a child among the victims, gripping a loaf. On a dream - it was - in life and survival, but it has become a loaf dipped in flesh and blood. The flesh and blood of its owner.

Any ugliness in existence can equal this ugliness. What description in any language in the world can be given to what is happening in Lebanon every day, and what respect can we have in the world, and this is our case. a bite of bread.

What is happening in Lebanon among the Lebanese themselves, and by the apparent and hidden hands, and others that tamper with their country and their capabilities, goes beyond any logic. It is a work outside of civilisation. What civilization.

Unless efforts are accelerated to try to contain what is happening, the fate of Lebanon, and with it the fate of all Arabs, will turn into a huge question mark.
