Remembering Khalil al-Wazir "Abu Jihad" and the Palestinian Uprising

Assassinated by the Israeli "Mossad" in his home in Tunis, under the leadership of former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak
The late Khalil al-Wazir "Abu Jihad," the architect of the first intifada

Yesterday marks the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the Palestinian fighter Khalil Al-Wazir "Abu Jihad" at a time when the Palestinian uprising in the occupied territories was achieving more gains and victories that the Israeli enemy did not think of.

The children of the stones continued the march, uniting the neo-Nazis such as Shamir and Peres and their aides, and rejecting all Zionist plans and initiatives, the latest of which was Shamir's suspicious proposals, through which he wanted to hold elections in the occupied land, while his mercenary soldiers continue to kill children of flower age and arrest women and the elderly in a blatant challenge to all International laws and norms, despite international calls to stop these massacres.

All the Palestinian people considered Abu Jihad a beacon that lights the path for them in their struggle, drawing inspiration from his pure spirit, the meanings of sacrifice, martyrdom, determination and steadfastness.

What is evidence of the enemy's fear of increasing confrontations in his memory is sending more military reinforcements to the cities, villages and camps of the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip in a desperate attempt to prevent the Palestinian citizens from celebrating in their own way on this anniversary, to confirm that the assassination of Palestinian symbols will not stop the uprising, which continues upward until victory is achieved by return. Self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

The raging Intifada has proven that killing a symbol and its banner will not stop it, but rather increases its emboldenedness and steadfastness in the face of the Nazis. This was confirmed by the children of the stones yesterday on the Palestinian Day of Anger, which was called for by the unified leadership of the Intifada to commemorate the martyr and as an expression of adherence to his approach, as three children joined the convoy of the righteous martyrs yesterday.
