Effective Implementation of the Bahrainization Plan, Jobs and Businesses

Today, with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs affirming that the Council of Ministers is showing great interest in implementing an effective plan to Bahrainize jobs and businesses and reduce dependence on foreign labour, the state's plans in the Bahrainization policy have begun to take a new and strong push that really deserves attention.

Although Bahrain has remained - since the seventies until now - the least dependent of the Gulf countries and the island on foreign labor in quantity and quality, due to the availability of national labor in many areas of work, and the state deliberately reducing that labor, the number of foreign labor increased with the increase in the volume of development projects in the country.

With the presence of a large number of workers, Bahrain began to realize - like other countries in the region - the seriousness of this presence and its economic, social, cultural and other effects, and it began planning for a long time to create many rehabilitation and training programs for citizens and speed up their implementation within specific time periods.

In this context - comes the statement of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor, who affirms that Bahrainization is the solution and alternative for the future of Bahrain and the safety valve for its development and renaissance.
